God is love, and His law enlightens us before we put ourselves in harm's way. Out of compassion for us, the laws He gives are for our good. We have seen it many times: when we do something wrong, we often realize that we were warned by God’s love to keep us on the right path. During difficult times, we may find ourselves falling into presumptuous sins. But we are grateful that He died on the cross for our sins.
