Only God can judge you

Check out 2Pac's album "Only God Can Judge Me." In this work, he delves into the theme of divine judgment. Tupac, known as Makaveli, was an American gangsta rapper navigating a life steeped in deadly sins. He grappled with living in two worlds, trying to balance a life for both man and God. Even within the harsh realities of the gangster rap scene, Tupac recognized God's presence. He understood the weight of divine judgment before his untimely death, expressing in his lyrics that God reveals the true nature of one's enemies, often those closest to you. His songs resonate with the struggles of sin that many of us face, especially as we seek redemption and transformation. I relate to Pac's sentiment—only God can judge me. He highlighted the desire to change while clinging to that familiar gangster lifestyle, acknowledging the call for repentance and the need to turn away from wickedness. Tupac enjoyed the pleasures of this world, but he often pondered the afterlife. Ultimately, we will all stand face-to-face with God. Deep down, we hear God's call to change our ways before it's too late. This life can feel burdensome, but only Jesus can offer true peace. As Matthew 6:33 reminds us, we should seek first the kingdom of God, and in Matthew 11:28, we are invited to come to Him for rest when we're weary. It was clear that 2Pac was seeking that rest amid the heaviness of life. God knows our hearts; while we may judge others based on appearances, He sees the true essence of who we are. Tupac recognized the enemy's deception and warned his listeners not to fear humanity, but rather to fear God, for only He has the authority to judge.
